Hisaronu and Ovacik - Hisaronu is the busier of the two resorts and offers a wide selection of restaurants, shops and bars. Ovacik is altogether quieter and more rural with splendid views of the surrounding pine clad mountains.

 

The air here is usually fresher than at sea level, which can be very welcome at the height of the summer when temperatures have been known to reach over 50 degrees centigrade!

  

Fethiye - Fethiye is just a 10 minute bus journey away from the Jasmine Garden Apartments with the bus stop a two minute walk away! It is an ancient Lycian town with relics dating back to the 4th century BC and is reputed to have been visited by Alexander the Great. Set against the magnificent backdrop of the Taurus Mountains and surrounded by a beautiful, island-strewn bay, the town is a very cosmopolitan Mediterranean town.

 

The picturesque old quarter is packed with bazaar-style shops, restaurants and bars. There is a wonderful market every Tuesday which sells everything you could imagine and more!!

 

Olu Deniz - The Jasmine Garden Apartments offer a free shuttle service to a private beach set on the Blue Lagoon, the location of the famous Humphrey Bogart film 'The African Queen'. Olu Deniz is one of the most photographed resorts in Turkey and is a conservation area thus protecting the stunning shoreline and village from overdevelopment. It has a very relaxed, laid-back atmosphere and is world famous for paragliding.
